I’m enrolled in Amy’s Embodied Movement Explorations and I need tech help
Soundcloud, our streaming audio provider, has a direct download link on the page. Once you’ve clicked through to the Soundcloud page from the EME email, click on the download link that’s located underneath the player, just above Amy’s picture on the left.
This should start an automatic download to the default download location on your computer. (Usually a “Downloads” or a “Documents” folder if you don’t know.)
If you can’t find the file by downloading in this manner, try this other method:
- Mouse over the “Download” link in the Soundcloud window.
- Right-click the link. (If you are on a Mac, this may be control-click.)
- Select “Save As,” or “Save target as.” – Choose to save to your Desktop.
- Wait until the media has finished downloading.
- Move the file to iTunes, or wherever you would like to play it.
If you’ve tried this and the download is incomplete or you don’t think it came through, please clear your cache and try this method again. (Instructions for your specific browser can be found here.)
